Paris

Hi Guys,

Todays post is on Paris from the Eiffel tower at night. These pictures are probably the most unique night shots I have captured. The Pentax K-10D has a neat feature that opens the mirror, but delays the shutter from opening for 2 seconds, which allows for freehand night shots with limited blur when you don't have a tripod (no blur from shutter button press). This is part 1 of the series.
I have to give Pentax props for making such a rugged camera (K10D). From 20F horizontal snow in Antarctica, to 90F with 90% humidty at Iguazu falls, to 7000feet in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains, to over 100F in the blowing sandy Sahara of Morocco, this camera has really done an amazing job and continues to be reliable after 7000 pictures.
Mike

Hope you enjoy.
