



These photos were taken from Petermann Island. We arrived here just after crossing the Lemaire Channel. The Penguin picture looking at me was taken at less than 4 foot distance. I had to turn my Marco setting on my 300mm lens. I fell in a snow hole, and the Penguin fell and slid right next to me. This day I think I went through a 2GB chip between Lemaire Channel, Petermann Island, and Port Lockroy (Snowy). I had a case of Natural Mountianous Beauty overload. Gods Creation is simply beautiful.
